comment spam

Hey fellow wordpress users. Lately, we’ve started getting about 30 spam comments on our blog everyday. All comments on this blog are moderated, so I promptly delete the spam comments comment spam. But it is still a pain to go thru the comments and delete them one by one.

Does anyone know of a wordpress plugin that can detect and delete spam comments automatically? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip, Tarun. Just visited the Akisment site and from this - “You have better things to do with your life than deal with the underbelly of the internet” it seems that they understand the pain. I’ll try it out.
