Media Sales Executive Summary
• The Media Sales Executive is responsible for negotiating online advertising campaigns and developing online media partnerships.
• There is a strong emphasis on building relationships and growing accounts through marketing and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Forging long-term sales relationships with advertisers, brands, and media agencies, and efficiently manage accounts.
• Generate revenues through Ad Sales directly from Brands, Advertisers & online agencies
• Contribute to determining pricing, value segmentation & sales approaches for a given set of target clients
• Create proposals, commercial documents, ad placement orders and any other documentation including online tracking tools
• Work to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Contribute to sales strategies that would increase the revenue of the company
In addition to this, the candidate must be competent in the following:
• Attending meetings with media partners and representing burrp! at industry events.
• Management of existing accounts for upsell and renewal.
• This includes pre and post sale follow up, as well as, assembling presentations, research, and general contact management.
• As candidates gain experience, they will have the opportunity to learn additional skills and take on new responsibilities.
Some areas for long term growth include:
• Advertising Sales Management – Media Sales Executives that show exceptional skill and work ethic will be responsible for managing large accounts with mid to large size companies.
• Those that continue to succeed, will eventually be asked to build and manage their own sales team
Requirements for Media Sales Executive
• burrp! is seeking highly qualified candidates who bring a positive attitude and who will help invigorate our work environment.
• Candidates must be entrepreneurial, intelligent, and self-motivated professionals.
• 2 years+ previous sales experience is preferred and experienced sales professionals from other industries are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer skills, and a BA/BS degree are required.
Compensation
Compensation package will be competitive as per industry standards, and will be dependent on relevant experience.
